Go live
Film a short clip, add a line, choose how long it runs — an hour, four hours, or till close. Then get back to work.
A hundred people walk past your door every hour with no idea what's happening inside it. Founding hosts get to tell them — in about ten seconds, from their phone.
Free to launch. Permanently.
Why host
No agency. No ad spend. No content calendar. Point your phone at the good bit and press post.
Film a short clip, add a line, choose how long it runs — an hour, four hours, or till close. Then get back to work.
You surface to every explorer nearby while the post is live — ranked by being open and being real, not by budget.
Views, direction taps, passport stamps and favourites — counted daily, in plain numbers, with nobody's personal data attached.
Founding host status
We launch one community at a time, alongside a small group of businesses who agree to be there on day one. That group gets treated accordingly.
Founding hosts pay nothing to list and keep that status for good, whatever we do with pricing later.
Your profile carries the Founding Host mark — the first businesses to back a town, publicly credited for it.
Founding hosts get our phone numbers. What you tell us in the first month shapes what ships in the second.
When explorers open StepInside in your town for the first time, yours are the doors they see.
Founding host waitlist
Tell us where you are and we'll come to you when we open your area — or sooner, if you'd like to help us open it.
You're on the founding host waitlist. We'll be in touch about opening your area — usually within a few days.
The world is waiting.
Host questions
About ten seconds when you have something to say, and nothing at all when you don't. Post when the bread comes out, when the terrace catches the sun, when you've got six oysters left. There's no minimum and no penalty for quiet days.
Nothing to join the waitlist and nothing to launch. Founding hosts keep free access permanently. If we introduce paid features later, founding hosts are told first and are never moved onto them without asking.
A phone. That's the whole kit. Anyone on your team can post, and posts expire on their own, so nothing needs taking down later.
Daily counts — views, direction taps, passport stamps, favourites — so you can tell what brought people in. You never see individuals, and neither do we sell anything about them to anyone.
Especially then. We choose which town to open next based on where the founding hosts are. A handful of businesses in one place is how an area gets to the front of the queue.
